A share-worthy interactive website that takes you on a multi sensory journey through the history of Porsche.
Combining era-influenced recordings of ‘Get Lucky’ by Pharrell Williams’, humorously performed in the style of music prevalent in each decade and combined with paired back imagery of key Porsche models from the marque’s history. The performance begins as you enter the experience, changing style as you click through the ‘waterfall’ timeline, commencing in 1875 and running through 11 stages to culminate in the 2020’s.
Each decade features a single side shot of the iconic and evolving Porsche profile, providing an addictively scrollable transitions to click through. With lightweight volumes of written information, this is a pleasurable, amusing and experiential saunter through the most iconic Porsche models, accompanied by the atmosphere and sounds of the times each was conceived in.
Although image quality could be higher and this site doesn’t appear to be officially associated with the Porsche company, viewing is recommended, ideally on desktop for the optimum experience.
